Late last summer, I got a craving for a quick apple treat. I found a recipe for an apple crisp in a mug and tweaked this recipe to create Gluten-Free Apple Crisp in a Mug. I subbed regular flour and oats for GF oat flour and GF oats and butter for coconut oil.
The gluten-free oat flour and oats I use are from Bob’s Red Mill. You can find them on Amazon or in most grocery stores. If you can’t have any gluten, be sure to get GF oats. Regular oats may be cross contaminated. Here is a post with GF baking tips and more about our family’s gluten-free journey.
